Essex pride takes place in Central Park entry to Essex pride is through the Entrance marquee featuring lots of support services and the site is fully licenced.

Essex Pride, the annual celebration of LGBT life in Essex and beyond, announces this year's event and entertainment line-up.

Essex Pride is an event for the whole community, and its more than just a huge party. Pride inspires everyone to embrace equality, and demonstrates that people from all walks of life throughout Essex, can join in together and celebrate. This year's event takes place on Saturday 24th June in Central Park, Chelmsford from 12 Mid-day until late, and has something for everyone including:

The Big Top Marquee with Live Acts and DJ
The Showcase Community Arena with Local Businesses and Charities.
Circus Workshop & Funfair
Entertaining Sideshows, Stalls and Merchandise area.
Great Food & Licensed Bars
Plus the Essex Pride Dog Show
Over 30 live acts and DJ's perform on the Main Stage including
The Sugababes "Mutya Buena" * Club Classics Dance Act "Livin Joy"* Boyband "5ive"
Also on the line up, the UK's No1 Tribute acts to Lady Gaga, Little Mix and Whitney Houston, plus outrageous drag queens, and local performers and DJ's

Also returning for this year is the Essex Pride Dog Show, where you can show your pampered pooch and enter them into the judging categories which include Waggiest Tail, Best Dressed, and Best in Show. Plus new for 2017, your dog can also try out the Pride agility course.
