Essex Pride takes place on Saturday the 24th June 2023.

Essex pride returns for its 19th event once again our march returns, last year we had over a thousand people came along and supported our first ever Essex pride march. The 19th annual Essex Pride event, which will take place in Central Park, Chelmsford. Essex Pride is an annual celebration of LGBT+ life in Essex and beyond.

Parade
From 10am. The march will set off at 10:45am.
Every year the festival grows and develops. The Essex Pride March is based on our beliefs of access for all, protesting for the rights of all community segments, and freedom to be our authentic selves. Rob Millwood, March organiser says; “With sections of our community under attack with proposed changes to the equality act, it is as important as ever to demonstrate and stand up for our rights”

This year there are two stages features some of the most amazing drag music and entertainment including The Vivian and Drag with No Name.

Plus the Essex Pride Dog Show

Dog Show
Registration for the event will be from 12:00 until 2:00pm and the event, including judging, will start from 2:45 up to 3:45. Essex Pride is holding its annual dog show on the day of the Essex Pride event in Central Park, Chelmsford on Saturday 24th June 2023. This is your chance for you and your dog to show off how fabulous they are, and also support Essex Pride in the process.

After party
The Essex Pride Official After Party, PopWorld Chelmsford. Free entry before 11pm with Essex Pride Wristband. Open to 4am – Over 18’s only.
