Gay Mardi Gras New Orleans takes place on Tuesday the 1st March 2022.

Gay Mardi Gras is without a doubt the most outrageous gay and lesbian event in New Orleans, second only to the annual Southern Decadence Weekend Celebration in the number of gay and lesbian revellers. The celebration takes place in the lower French Quarter. This is where the epicentre of the Gay New Orleans community is located at the corner of Bourbon and St. Ann Streets, anchored by the city's largest gay nightclub, The Bourbon Pub / Parade.

Gay Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a gay carnival festival in the famous French Quarter. Mardi Gras day or Fat Tuesday is the traditional day for masking. Costumes can be more than revealing, and it is tradition that women show their tits for beans, the (gay) guys show tend to show the content of their underwear.
