Crossing is a neighbourhood gay video bar in the historic Vieux Carré. We’re inclusive and welcome everyone. Crossing is the first steampunk-themed gay bar in America, and the first steampunk bar in Louisiana (to the best of our knowledge).

Our bar program includes a professional mixologist and myriad original creations featuring Deep Eddy and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and speciality tequilas including jalapeño-flavoured. We pour all of your favourite brands. Crossing also offers a wide range of imported and domestic bottled beers.

Look deeper, and you’ll see hand-painted crown moulding, gear-shaped tables, and industrial metal finishes. Our bar, seating, and painted flourishes are highlighted by metallic finishes of gold and bronze, as we hearken back to a sci-fi Steampunk future. The bar is lit with handmade Einstein lamps as well as a high tech lighting system. Even our restrooms are custom-fitted with steam-era accoutrements.
