San Diego Pride takes place from the 8th to 16th July 2023.
The San Diego Pride Festival is host to a variety of local and national organizations. Businesses, and entertainers eager to show their support for our community. If you’d like to be part of the action, learn more below!
She Fest
July 8, 2023, noon - 6pm
She Fest delivers empowering and accessible programming and content that centres LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people; creates opportunities to connect LGBTQ+ small businesses to new audiences; facilitates social events that bring people together; and invests in and celebrate the volunteer leadership of She Fest committee members. Our year-round efforts culminate in an annual flagship event that brings over 4,000 of our community members together to kick off San Diego’s Pride week in July.
Light Up the Cathedral
Wednesday, July 12 @ 6 PM, St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral
You are invited to join LGBTQ Faith Leaders and Faithful. Join Dean Penny Bridges and other Faith Leaders as we gather together, in-person, to celebrate our faith and resilience. After the service, the Cathedral will be lit in rainbow colours.
The Rally

Kick-off San Diego Pride weekend as we listen to inspiring speakers, recognize LGBTQ leaders, and raise the Pride flag.
Pride 5K Run + Walk

Time to mark your calendars for the 2023 San Diego Front Runners Pride 5K Run & Walk! The Pride 5K Run & Walk is always a highlight of Pride Week festivities. Last year, a record setting 1,700 runners and walkers, from around the world, participated and raised $40,000 for our charity partners. Every year, funds raised at the San Diego Pride 5K generate significant donations for our charity partners – San Diego Pride and The LGBT Center’s Youth Housing.
The Parade
Saturday, July 15 @ 10am.
San Diego’s Pride Parade is the largest single-day civic event in the region and is among the largest Prides in the United States, attracting over 300,000 cheering supporters of the LGBTQ community. Cheer on colourful floats & parade participants as we celebrate and honour the LGBTQ community at the San Diego Pride Parade in Hillcrest.

It’s your time to be OUT and PROUD! The Pride Festival is San Diego’s largest 2-day event highlighting the best in LGBTQ entertainment, interactive exhibits, cultural presentations, and community resources.
