Scotland's LGBTIQ+ Sports Festival takes place from the 17th to the 30th June 2024.

LEAP Sports Scotland aims to increase the visibility and participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people in Scottish sport. LEAP - Leadership, Equality and Active Participation - Sports Scotland is committed to breaking down social and personal barriers which discourage LGBTI people across the country from participating in Scottish sports. We work with sports groups and various community partners from all across Scotland to pursue our objectives. If you are interested in starting a LGBTI sports club or getting involved with LEAP.

The festival takes place between 17th-30th June and provides something for everyone, featuring a combination of sporting, cultural, academic, social, and recreational events. LEAP coordinates these events and can support organisers by offering advice and promoting events widely through the Festival Fortnight website and our social media channels.

If you are a sports club, organisation, or individual and are interested in running your own event during Festival Fortnight 2024, you can read our Partner Handbook for lots of tips for planning and hosting events.
