In the famous words of the great philosophers “The Weathergirls” ...‘The Street’s the place to go!”. We hope you think so too! We are about to reach the landmark of thirteen years as The Street Bar & cornerstone of Edinburgh’s Pink Triangle, and for the past four years “The Street Nightclub” has been open until 3am in our basement EVERY Friday & Saturday. We are proud to have become a landmark on Edinburgh’s social scene. A trendy & popular mixed bar, independently owned, with friendly staff. By day the glass front makes it an ideal place to relax with a coffee & people watch, whilst at night it attracts a livelier crowd with a buzzing atmosphere.
The Street is set out over two floors, for eating, drinking & dancing with outdoor heated smoking areas on both levels. We are open until 1am Sunday to Thursday and 3am at the weekend. An extensive international 'Street Food' menu is served until 9pm & Mexican 'Street Food' is available until midnight every night. We serve a premium selection of beers, wines & spirits, plus an extensive cocktail list. On Sunday, Monday & Tuesday selected cocktails are £5 with other selected drink promos available the rest of the week.
A hectic schedule of entertainment ensues every week. Wednesdays is “Prize Surprize” which is NOT a Pub Quiz - it’s a GAMESHOW hosted by Ryan Matthewson (with comedy & cabaret and with games such as “The Wheel of Misfortune”, Bingo, “I’m not a celebrity get me in there!”, “Deal or NO Deal”, “Supermarket Sweep” & much much more PLUS a big CASH JACKPOT). Thursday nights is 'The Quality Street Show' with DJs LouLou Honky Tonk, Marie Potter & guests playing every flavour in the box.
The weekend begins on Friday & so do our extended opening hours for “The Street Nightclub” & the rather discreet entrance for after 1am is around the corner on Broughton Street. Every Friday night is “The Wendy House” with resident DJ Trendy Wendy’s very own house party and features regular guest djs. Saturdays have some of Scotland’s finest djs lined up for “Disco-Brolly” where all the music fits underneath our big disco umbrella!! Djs are joined by live percussion, saxophone, vocalists and more for prime time party action and the best atmosphere in town. Occasional big name djs are flown in for a special treat! Further additions which make The Street a stand-out place to hang are the vintage style black & white Photo Booth & Scotland's first 'Street-Art' Gallery where you can buy a Banksy with your beer! Our basement area is available for private hire subject to availability with plenty buffet options to choose from.
