Kendal Pride takes place from the 12th to 15th June 2025.

Kendal Pride missions is to increase visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community in Kendal and the South Lakes, support people to make meaningful connections and introduce them to the outdoors. We’re a partnership of community members and groups already working with LGBTQIA+ people in and around Kendal.

To celebrate this year’s Kendal Pride and stand in solidarity with the local LGBTQIA+ community, Kendal Mountain Festival is proudly supporting an evening of Queer-led films. These inspirational adventure films will take you around the world with tales of endurance and bravery, transcending fear and redefining inclusivity. Get ready for a fantastic evening. 18:30-19:30.

Festival
Stalls, activities and entertainment from 12:00-18:00. Join us around Abbot Hall for our Kendal Pride Village. Visit stalls, meet up with like-minded people, or enjoy a drink or some food. Don’t forget to get your toes tapping with entertainment on the stage from 12:00.

After party
Join Kendal Pride at Bowness Bay Brewery for The Big Pride Party and an evening of high camp, fabulous entertainment from queens and kings from Cumbria and beyond, plus all your favourite queer classics to keep you dancing the night away. We’re once again taking over The Venue, courtyard and Barrel House, with a night not to be missed. Doors open 19.30 with entertainment from 20:00 – line up to be confirmed. Last orders will be at midnight and the venue will close at 00:30.
