Low Wray Campsite

Info

Sat on the shores of Lake Windermere, Low Wray Campsite offers a wide range of camping options. Pitch your own tent pitches, roll up in a campervan, or stay in one of the pods or Safari tents. There is even an accessible cabin near the lake front too. With a choice of views of the between the lake, woodlands, meadows, and surrounding fells, there's a little of something for everyone at this campsite.

Facilities at the site include a shop, three toilet and shower blocks, laundry facilities, washing-up areas and bring your own canoes for pottering about on England's largest lake.

Leave the car behind for a few days and head out on your bikes or on foot along the lake shore to Claife Viewing Station, or through scenic views to Beatrix Potter's garden at Hill Top, or Allan Bank at Grasmere. There are plenty of clubs and bars in the area which cater to gay travellers and make this an ideal place to stay.
