Pride in Trafford takes place from 13th to 18th May 2025.
Pride in Trafford celebrates and explores identity and LGBTQ+ life in Trafford, to coincide with IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia). Pride in Trafford explores and celebrates both identity and LGBTQ+ life in Trafford. The work aims to challenge and entertain, taking a queer art focus over a more traditional pride format. The inaugural Pride in Trafford took place in 2019, with a strong commitment to diversity, telling stories and celebrating artists many of which are often under-represented. Our 2020 festival was reimagined as a micro-digital festival.

Youth pride
Gorse Hill Studios and Rainbow Reflections will facilitate creative activities with focus on youth voice, engaging in discussions, expressing themselves through various art forms and food which young people have prepared. Activities include youth voice wall, banner making, badge making, cardboard catwalk & drag race, LGBTQ+ films and rainbow tie dye t-shirts.

MINI PRIDE
Curious Arts return to Sale Library with a joyous celebration of individuality and creativity. Ignite your imagination by taking part in fun activities from colourful arts and crafts to inclusive story times with our Curious Artists. A welcoming, relaxed space for ages 3-7 and their families, be Proud and celebrate.
THE CEQUIN CIRCUS
Performers from the dazzling Cequin Circus will be on the Plaza keeping you entertained with their walkabout acts from juggling, to hula hooping and stilt walking.
THE VILLAGE
A chance to connect with and find out more from community groups, charities and organisations who are working with and supporting the LGBTQ+ communities in and around Trafford.
THE BANDSTAND
Pride in Trafford have curated a fabulous programme of LGBTQ+ music and spoken word artists to perform on The Bandstand - new for 2025.

Get ready to unleash your creativity and celebrate Pride in Trafford in fabulous style at Drag and Draw, hosted by OYEZ in Altrincham. Join us for a fun, artistically-inspired afternoon in this two-hour guided workshop, featuring a fabulous drag model and an atmosphere filled with DJ-spun beats. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, we’ve got you covered—all materials are provided, and the OYEZ bar will be open to keep the good vibes flowing.
