Pride in Trafford takes place from 17 to 20 May 2023.
Join us for this year's gloriously camp, queer and fun festival to celebrate the very best of all things LGBTQ+ across the borough!
We will run a small programme of one-off comedy, workshops, dance and theatre shows showcasing local and upcoming LGBTQ+ artists and performers. During the festival, they’ll be a ceremonial flag raising at Sale Town Hall, to mark IDAHOBIT. Now in the fifth fabulous year, Pride in Trafford brings together an exciting and diverse range of established and up-and-coming performers, from comedy and cabaret to theatre and movement, whose work represents and showcases what it means to them to be out and proud in a changing and challenging world.
More than 50% of our events are free to attend and/or participate in.

Pride in Trafford and local pizzeria Mano a Bocca will host a free outdoor celebration on Waterside Plaza, with outdoor performers and family friendly activities. Including Mini Pride in Sale Library, and a chance to find out more about some local organisations.

Celebrate everything that's unique and wonderful about families at Mini Pride! Take part in fun, creative activities from colourful arts and crafts to an interactive story time with our Curious Artists.

Pride in Trafford 23: Closing Party
Mano a Bocca, Waterside Plaza, Sale, M33 7BS. Hosted by the fabulous Belinda Scandal and Mano a Bocca restaurant.
An informal dinner combined with Cabaret & Music, Fundraising Raffle & PRIDE D.I.S.C.O. playing the best in 80s & 90s tunes with a few contempos chucked in. Dinner includes antipasti sharing platters, sliced sharing pizza selection, mini desserts & wine (1 glass per guest 175ml). Seating available at communal tables of 4, 6 & 8 with individual tickets priced at £55.00. £5.00 from each ticket will be donated to the LGBT Foundation, as well as funds raised from raffle prizes in the evening.
