Gävle Pride started in 2016 and is arranged annually since then in Gävle.

Parade
19th August.
The Pride parade. We gather as usual in Stenebergsparken from 12.00 and the parade departs at 14.00. We offer, hopefully, sunshine and a good time while waiting for departure. The parade is for many joy, glitter and party. For many, the parade is part of the fight for their own and others' rights. The parade is power and love.

Festival
Rainbow fair
According to tradition, Gävle Pride ends with a rainbow mass in Mariakyrkan at Sätra. The fair starts at 4:00 p.m.

Political debate on LGBTQI rights:
As tradition dictates, we will once again have a political debate on LGBTQI issues this year. As usual, the political debate will focus on the situation of LGBTQI people living in Gävle. We will update the information with the concrete theme further on. The debate will take place on Thursday 17 August 2023 in Kvarnparken. More information about the time will come later, but somewhat after the opening ceremony, which takes place at 12:00. In the event of rain, there will be a backup plan.
