Hey friends, wow, so it’s December already, and we’re on the edge of seeing out 2022 with all the fun and festivities.

Our small team at PinkUk Towers wishes you a fantastic festive season and the successful, glorious and very PINK 2023! You deserve.

Our LGBTQ+ listings service is about bringing you what you need to know.

We scan constantly for new Pride festivals, new venues, new holiday options and other events or projects that you would like to be listed. We would appreciate hearing any suggestions on how to expand our listings information. This includes some sexy hunk calendars from our friends at Bent.com.

We are on the eve of World Aids Day, Thursday 1 December. A memorial date in the calendar to remember all the lives lost from HIV/AIDS. We express our solidarity with all LGBTQ+ communities and their organisations who do so much to protect, care for and inform people about the risks of HIV around the world.

Our sympathies to all affected by the shoot-ing in an LGBTQ+ club in Colorado, USA, kill-ing five people. Hate speech fuels prejudice and violence against people who are just different.

It would help save lives if politicians of all political colours spoke out more than they do against such crimes. With the soccer World Cup in full swing and with some great matches already played, we feel world soccer organisation FIFA has let LGBTQ+ people down by opting for a country where homosexual acts risk years of imprisonment. Check out our opinion piece on the safety of LGBTQ+ people in Qatar from PinkUk founder Dave. All this suggests we should stand proud, enjoy and value our freedoms, never taking them for granted. We hope you have a fantastic, safe and a perfectly PINK festive season.

Featured event/pride: Blackpool Winter Pride 2023

Blackpool. This will be the 2nd Blackpool Winter Pride. Taking place at the iconic Winter Gardens, the event will be full of entertainment for all.
