Santiago Parade takes place on Saturday the 29th June 2024.

In spring (Southern Hemisphere) there is Pride! The pride march and the largest festival of electronic music and performances against discrimination in Chile. Thousands will march through the Alameda to finish a great closing event. Lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans, intersex, asexuals, queer, non-binary, heterosexuals, cisgenders and all diversities will give life to the 24th edition of “Santiago Parade, Open Mind Fest”. Because Santiago Parade is for LGBTIQ+ and also for heteros and cisgenders.

It will be on Saturday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Plaza Italia.
The march will be very special, as it will commemorate the 25 years of the legalization of homosexuality in Chile, which until 1999 was penalised with 541 days in jail.
The commemoration of this milestone, which opened the door to all the legal advances achieved later, will be accompanied by protests because the State of Chile has not yet reformed the Zamudio Law, while the National Institute of Statistics (INE) excluded consultations on sexual orientation and about trans childhoods and adolescence from the Census.

Prepare your flags, prepare your slogans and posters and join the march with your family, friends or acquaintances. There will be thousands and thousands of us who will fill the Alameda.
