Central Wisconsin Pride takes from the 13th to 16th June 2024.

After years of planning and several attempts, Pride has found a home in central Wisconsin. In July 2019, after lengthy debate, the Marathon County Board voted to declare June as Pride Month. Shortly after, planning began for a June 2020 Pride event. Then Covid-19 put an end to large scale events being safely held. Not wanting to lose the goodwill or momentum, a small Pride event was held on June 20th, 2020. The size was strictly limited, and safety protocols were in place. The first Central Wisconsin Pride took place at the Motorama Events Grounds east of Wausau. A variety of stage events and activities filled the afternoon and evening.
Good, safe family fun was enjoyed by all. A three-day festival featuring vendors, Miss and Mr pageant, dance parties, drag shows, aerial burlesque, camping, karaoke, museum, river tubing, champagne brunch, fashion show, food and drink. The schedule includes speakers, stage shows, vendors, dance party, camping and more. Part of the planning is to have covid safety protocols in place for the event if necessary. Everyone is welcome.

Thursday, June 13th
Campgrounds open at noon. Early move in. Set up your campsite or RV.
Set up your vendor stall.
Enjoy a potluck supper at 6pm
