Info
Pride Vermont Week starts on the 9th August to 18th September 2022.
The Mission of Pride is to celebrate Vermont for its safe, healthy, empowering community that embraces all of life’s colours. We take Pride in Vermont’s progress towards equality, and want Vermonters to know that being queer in Vermont is something worth celebrating and not only can it continue to get better, it is better.

Parade
Sunday the 18th
Since 1983, LGBTQ+ Vermonters have been marching the streets of Burlington to expand LGBTQ+ visibility, highlight the continued fight for equal rights and treatment, and celebrate the love that we have for each other and our community overall. Connected to our theme of ‘Metamorphosis’ this year’s festivities feature a new parade route and festival venue, as well. Our parade will start in the same location it always has — the Hood Plant — then make its way up Church St, then turn onto Bank St, and come back down on St. Paul Street past the newly erected 1983 Pride March Historical Marker. But in keeping with tradition, feel free to join the end of the parade as we make our way down Main St to the Burlington Waterfront Park for our fabulous Pride Festival and celebration.
