Knox Pride takes place on Saturday from 30th September to the 2nd October 2022.

Knox Pride Festival is an open celebration of music, entertainment and speakers focused on promoting Equality and Inclusion of all people. Throughout the afternoon and evening, vendors will have the opportunity to display information about their organization and/or business, sell or hand out items of interest and interact with our community to promote inclusion and equality for the LGBTQ+ citizens of Knoxville and surrounding areas.

Parade
This year promises to be the biggest and best Parade Knox PrideFest has ever seen, and Knox Pride cordially invites you to be a part of the celebration! Do you own a business? Are you in a community group? If so, grab a few friends and a banner or, better yet, build a float. Feel free to be as creative as possible while promoting your organization. Don’t forget the beads, candy, flyers, and water as the crowd always loves freebies! 2022 PrideFest Theme, Homecoming, will lend itself to all things Knoxville, Tennessee, Appalachia, and more! We can’t wait to see your creativity and interpretation of what this theme means to you. As this is a night parade, we do encourage participants to utilize lights, glow-in-the-dark, etc., but for safety purposes, please refrain from using strobe lighting or high power lasers/laser pointers.
Staging for the parade will take place on Friday, September 30, starting at 4:00pm in the Mary Costa Plaza parking area by the Civic Auditorium. All floats, motorized units and walkers must report in by 5:30pm. Floats will line up on Jackson Ave. Please make sure to carpool, there is limited space for parking and staging. The parade will start promptly at 7:00pm and a detail outlining the parade route will be sent to all participants closer to the event.
