Upstate Black Pride, takes place from the 28th to 30th June 2024.

Black Pride Week is an opportunity for marginalised people to drive an event for the entire community. These all-inclusive events are an opportunity for fellowship and celebration. ALL ARE WELCOME! Black Pride is a community event that is all-inclusive and an opportunity to love and be loved on regardless of ethnicity, identity, orientation, and gender. It is important our community acknowledge when there is a lack of equity. Upstate Pride SC presents Black Pride to empower marginalised groups within our community. There are groups that don’t often have a seat at the table, nor do they always have an opportunity to drive events for our entire community. Our Black Pride events uplift two additional marginalised groups: Trans & Latinx. Upstate Pride SC is committed to intersectionality and the areas in which we all have an opportunity to address spaces void of racism, sexism, transphobia, and homophobia.

The free family-friendly festival will include a parade, exciting entertainment, passionate and educational speakers, vendors sharing their skills, crafts, delicious food, hugs, missions and more.
