Brooklyn Pride takes place on Saturday the 10th June 2023.

LGBTQIA+ Brooklynites had traditionally crossed over the bridge to Manhattan seeking the gay community. In 1996 several Brooklynites looked to create a new opportunity, whereby local organizations, businesses, friends and supporters of equal rights for all could come together in solidarity and celebration and bring visibility to the multi-cultural gay community in the borough. A new organization was founded – Brooklyn Pride, Inc.

Over the years, Brooklyn Pride has grown to become the largest and most prominent organization serving Brooklyn’s LGBTQIA+ community. Although Brooklyn Pride’s primary mission is to produce the borough’s annual pride events, the organization actively works to bring pride year round to every Brooklyn neighbourhood.

Parade
7:30 PM 10pm. 5th Avenue
Join Brooklyn Pride for the City’s only twilight parade: the Brooklyn Pride Parade! The parade runs along 5th Avenue in Park Slope between Lincoln Place and 9th Street.

Festival
11am - 5pm
Come on down to Park Slope’s 5th Avenue to enjoy a cross-section of the borough’s business, community, and city-wide organizations. In addition to the vendors, there will be a fabulous entertainment stage at 4th Street displaying local, national, and international talent!

Family Fun ZonE
At Old Stone House / J.J. Byrne Park, 5th Ave. between 3rd & 4th Streets, we will have our Family Fun Zone that features family activities, music, face painting, arts & crafts, story-time, and more! Starts at 11AM.

Main Stage
At 4th Street Plaza (off of 5th Avenue) will feature hip-hop, rock, drag performers and more! See the full list of 2023 performers here. The Main Stage performances start at Noon and go until 6pm.
