Pine Belt Pride takes place from the 10th to 15th October 2023.

As we work to continue to be a resource centre and safe pace for members of the LGBTQ+ community, we want to extend our reach and support beyond the city of Hattiesburg to the entire Mississippi Pine Belt. To further this mission, The Spectrum Center Board voted to change the of Hattiesburg Southern Fried Pride to Pine Belt Pride. The 9th Annual Pine Belt Pride is almost here, and we are ready to bring you another week of pride celebration.

Monday
Community Cookout @TSC 6:30pm | Join us at the centre to kick off pride week with some good food and good friends.

Tuesday
Sign Making Party @TSC 6pm | Come make signs for the Pride March during Pride in the Park. Refreshments will be served.

Wednesday
Queeraoke @SoPro 7pm | Come sing some songs and hang out with us.

Thursday
Pepper’s Pride Party @Pepper’s Parties, Too 7pm | Kathi Pepper is putting another great party together for us. Come out for games and good times with friends.

Friday
Queer Comedy Show @TBA 8pm | We got jokes! Come out for a good laugh.

Saturday
Pride in the Park @Town Square Park 10am | You already know we have performances, music and food! It’s all going down Downtown.
Pride After Party @TBA 8pm | It’s time to party and celebrate who you are. Stay tuned for performers.

Sunday
Pride Brunch @MPV 11am | Come out for a few queens, brunch and mimosas!
