Baton Rouge Pride week takes place on Saturday the 24th June 2023.

Living Out Proud is all about expressing pride in who you are, inside and out. Previous generations of LGBTQ+ individuals have paved and braved many roads for us, making our lives easier in many ways - but there is still a lot of work to be done. This is an homage to them - the courageous ones that came before, fighting for not just theirs but our own equality. They made their voices heard and have taught us and future generations that we are all important. We must honour their legacy and carry their voices forward into the future.

Friday, June 23rd
7:30pm-10:00pm. Jen Kober. 100 Lafayette St, Baton Rouge.
Jen Kober is originally from Lake Charles, LA, and has energetically bounded onto the national stage bringing crowds to their feet with her original blend of stand-up, story telling, and improvised rock-n-roll comedy. Her hard-hitting hour is phenomenally funny, as Kober commands the stage and dares you not to laugh. Jen was the 2017 Winner of NPR's Snap Judgement Comedic Performance of the Year for her Girl Scout Cookie Caper story, which went viral upon its release earlier that year. Kober received the 2018 Comedic Performance of the Year for her story titled Nana Vs. OJ.
Comedian Jeff D has brought houses down all over the country with his unique Southern-style humour, riotous stories, hilarious characters, and satiric point of view. Whether it’s at major venues on the west coast, honkytonks and clubs in the south, or at an all-you-can-eat buffet in Des Moines, Jeff D connects to audiences and keeps them wanting more!
