Palm Springs Leather Pride is help in the last weekend in October sees the city fill up with leather-clad hunks of all shapes and sizes, eager to join in the four days of shows, competitions, cruise alleys and pool parties.

Each year, the Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert (PSLOD) plans and executes Palm Springs Leather Pride, a four-day celebration with numerous events including social gatherings, dinners, parties and culminating in the selection of Mr. Palm Springs Leather who represents Palm Springs at the International Mr. Leather contest held in May. As one of the most well-attended events on the Palm Springs annual calendar, Leather Pride has become an important contributor to local businesses, hotels, restaurants and retailers. It is scheduled to run October 27th through October 30th this year.

PSLOD is an all-volunteer organization, and we take the health and well-being of our community extremely seriously. The recent rise of Monkeypox cases in California and the nation has created some concerns relating to holding large events this fall. There are currently, however, no restrictions in place at the municipal, county or state level, that would impede the successful execution of the Leather Pride celebration in 2022, and planning is on course and moving forward.

All the profits go to local and national charities, which is a great bonus – plus, they welcome the opportunity to support an organization that’s so committed to consensual sexual freedom.
