York Pride takes place from the 14th to 15th June 2024.
York Pride will present its 24th pride festival, hosted in the Town of Newmarket, for two days from June 14 to June 15, 2024. Featuring live performances from 40+ Ontario-based emerging queer artists and allies. Projected attendance is 35,000+ residents while attracting 12,000+ tourists. 360 Pride Experience has partnered with The Postmark Hotel, Newmarket’s newest hotel in the downtown heritage core; home to York Pride Festival and Parade. Offering pride & play packages for a weekend getaway for this not to miss, summer celebration. Main Street offers some of Ontario’s most heart-warming and delightful culinary experiences. There’s something for everyone to enjoy all weekend long.

The Town of Newmarket and the Newmarket Business Improvement Area work tirelessly with York Pride to ensure the downtown core is presented as the perfect rainbow getaway for guests and residents. From brightly coloured planters to pride banners, each shop, restaurant, and boutique offering a pride experience is in every window, on every plate, and is the talk of the town
To inspire positive change through human connections, support, and education, while providing 2SLGBTQ+ focused events that highlight our queer culture and the importance of creating inclusive spaces within and beyond York Region.
The York Pride Parade takes place on Indigenous Lands, which includes the communities of the: Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabeg peoples. As the biggest event of the York Pride Festival, all eyes will be on our 2500 marchers as over 70 floats and groups take over Main Street. Expect all your Parade favourites, from the famous rumble of the motorbikes to the quintessential community groups, and the many wonders of our 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
