Kelowna Pride Festival week takes place from the 5th to 11th June 2023.
Kelowna Pride acknowledges that we serve our communities as visitors on the traditional territories of the Syilx-Okanagan peoples of the Interior Salish Nation. Kelowna Pride's beginnings started over 25 years ago. Since then, the festival has grown immensely, attracting over 12,000 people to be proud and celebrate love, diversity and inclusivity.

Kelowna Pride Week Launch
June 5 | 5 - 7 PM, Kick off Pride Week at BNA
Kelowna Pride Week officially launches with a social gathering for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members and allies! This event is made possible by the generous space provided by BNA Brewing Co.
Join us to learn about the official and affiliate events unfolding throughout Pride Week, listen to some guest speakers, and try our new Pride Beer: True Colours - a fun and fruity custom blend, with a portion of proceeds donated to Pride!
Please note that attendees will be responsible for their own food and beverage charges.
Accessibility: The event will be held on the 2nd floor of BNA. For wheelchair users and those who cannot use the stairs, an elevator is located slightly south of the primary entrance. BNA's managers will happily provide keyed access. Single stall and accessible restrooms are available on location.
Kelowna Pride Bike March & Social
June 6 | 5 - 7 PM
Join us for a queer bike rally through downtown Kelowna! Presented in collaboration with Fresh Air and This Space Belongs To You.
After departing the RCA, participants will go along the following route:
• Cawston to Ellis
• Ellis to Lawrence
• Lawrence to Water
• Water to Richter
• Richter to Baillie.
On arrival at Jackknife, participants are invited to enjoy a casual social. Jackknife’s outstanding brews and pizzas will be available for purchase. Bike parking is available at Jackknife. In addition, bike washes will be available from This Space Belongs To Your Staff and bike tune-ups will be offered by the Fresh Air staff.
Kelowna Trans Pride March & Celebration
June 8 | 5 - 9:30 PM, March will begin at 5:30 PM
Marshalling for the Trans Pride March will begin at 5:00pm at “The Sails” on the waterfront off Bernard Street and Abbott Street. Bring your colourful signage and be prepared to have media coverage present at this public location.

Trans Pride Celebration
Location A: Kelowna Art Gallery (1315 Water Street, Kelowna), Time: 5:30 PM
The Kelowna Art Gallery will provide: live-streaming for the Trans Pride Celebration Showcase of presentations, speakers and performers from the RCA MainStage; offer an interactive art space for young kiddos to colour, create art pieces, and have access to stickers, buttons etc.; offer opportunities to interact and visit with performers after their sets at RCA; provide a dedicated area for folk to have pictures taken with Miss Freida Whales.
Urban Fare will be present to provide water and beverages at outside booth
Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society drummers will be present outside to welcome marchers and lead folx to RCA.
Kelowna's Next Drag SuperStar - All Stars

Join us for Kelowna's Next Drag SuperStar - All Stars at Red Bird Brewing! Get ready for an electrifying night of glitz, glam, and fierce competition as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kelowna's Next Drag Superstar: All Star Edition! Produced by Rebellious Unicorns in partnership with the Kelowna Pride Society, this spectacular event will feature the best of the best, as past winners return to the stage to compete for the title of Kelowna's ultimate drag superstar.

Kelowna Pride Festival includes a variety of talent, music, performances and entertainment throughout the day, along with vendors and activities for people of all ages. Kelowna Park & Play will be joining us with bouncy castles and games for the kiddos. There will be a 19+ beverage garden at the Festival this year. Valid ID required for entry.

Join us at Red Bird Brewing to wrap up Pride Week 2023 in style at Fruitcake: Pride Party!
Get ready to dance the night away under the stars, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the outdoors. The event kicks off with live music to get you in the mood, followed by non-stop DJ dancing until 11pm. Please note that music will turn down at 10:30pm due to noise by-laws, so don't miss out on any of the action.
Dress appropriately for the weather, as the event will be outdoors. Bring your dancing shoes and your best moves, as we celebrate pride, diversity, and acceptance. Whether you identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ or as an ally, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the fun.
