Join Kelowna Pride for the largest Pride Festival in the BC Interior.
Kelowna Pride acknowledges that we serve our communities as visitors on the traditional territories of the Syilx-Okanagan peoples of the Interior Salish Nation.

Kelowna Pride first festivals began over 25 years ago. Since then, the festival has grown immensely, attracting over 12,000 people to be proud and celebrate love, diversity and inclusivity.

From the Kelowna Out & Proud Film Festival at downtown Kelowna’s Rotary Centre for the Arts (September 22 - 27) to QueeReads (September 20 and 27) to Voices Unheard with Wilbur Turner (September 22) and more, Kelowna Pride Week 2020 promises to deliver something for everyone.

In an effort to ensure accessibility and to enable individuals in the community to participate in whatever manner they are most comfortable with, a number of the events - such as the Parades and Festival - will be livestreamed for free. Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar will also be streamed for a small fee

Parade
Over the course of September 18 to 27, there'll be a wide range of Pride festivities, featuring both in-person and virtual events. There will also be three parades this year. In a historic first for Kelowna, there will be a Pedal Parade (bicycle) on September 22, a Water Parade (people-powered watercraft) on September 23 and a Vehicle Parade (cars, trucks etc.) on September 24.

In addition to Pride favourites such as Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar (September 18 - 26) and the Pride Festival (September 26), there will also be an Outdoor Rainbow Market at House of Rose Winery (September 20) and a number of ‘affiliate events’ hosted by members and organizations from the community.
