Birmingham Pride will take place over the weekend 23/25th May 2025.

Birmingham Pride held its first event back in 1997. Over the following 25 years Birmingham Pride has become one of the most important LGBTQ+ festivals in the UK attracting in excess of 40,000 people over the course of the weekend to the festival sites in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village and over 75,000 participating in or watching our annual pride parade through the streets of Birmingham.

Parade
Saturday 24th May Starts at 12:00 and leaves from Centenary Square, Birmingham City Centre. The Birmingham Pride parade is FREE to view, but you do need to register to take part. The parade starts making its way through the city from 12 noon, ending in the LGBTQ+ Village, where people then make their way to the main festival activities. Our Pride Parade is a march for equality and a celebration of LGBTQ+ life in the city. The Birmingham Pride Parade march is one of the most important aspects of the entire festival weekend, enjoyed by tens of thousands of participants, walking, marching or aboard creatively decorated floats, and viewed by in excess of 75,000 spectators lining the streets of Birmingham.

Main Festival
The main festival site is held on Smithfield, where you'll find the Main Stage, Cabaret Marquee, Dance Arena, Fun Fair, Stalls and food vendors. Previous artists to grace the main stage include Dua Lipa, Becky Hill, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sugababes, Steps, Anne-Marie, Natasha Bedingfield etc etc. Smithfield is open on Friday 23rd May from 6pm for the Big Free Community Event, followed on Saturday and Sunday with the main Pride weekend line-up.

Street party
The Birmingham Pride street party is held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May in the heart of the pride Village centred around Hurst Street, Bromsgrove Street, Kent Street and Lower Essex Street. Here you will find all of your favourite LGBTQ+ bars and clubs, community market stalls, food vendors & the entertainment stage.
