Unfortunately, Southend Pride has been postponed due to circumstances of Covid-19.

Due to the recent public health situation, Southend Pride 2021 will look a little different from other years. Unfortunately, we will not be able to hold our usual Festival in Warrior Square Gardens. However, the Parade along the High Street will take place, as we celebrate coming together as a community once more. And the celebrations do not stop there!

Rainbows will take over the town! Restaurants, bars, cafes and shops will be hosting live events and offering Pride themed treats all afternoon. Street performers will be entertaining the passing crowds and children can enjoy the Kids Space at the Royals Shopping Centre with face painting, games, and arts n crafts.
And of course, Pride would not be Pride without an Official After Party at The Cliff Pub.

As in the past, there will be something for everyone, from poetry to drag shows, from street art to rainbow cakes. So, put the date in your diary - Saturday 17th July, and get those rainbows and sparkles out of lockdown.
