Milkshake Festival Amsterdam takes place over the weekend 29/30th July 2023.

Returning for the 11th edition, Milkshake festival is a dance festival that has been created from the thought ‘nothing should be a must, anything is possible’. Milkshake festival shows that entertainment, taste in music, choice of clothing and status has nothing to do with sexuality. Life is just a party thanks to the great diversity of skin colours, body shapes, sexual preferences and gender expressions. Milkshake wants to celebrate the city’s initiatives and is an impetus to bring courtesy and friendly manners back into society. Thick, thin, small, large, gay, straight, trans, black, white and everyone in between: people are the salt of the earth and this is what we celebrate!

For the first time in Milkshake, his- her and them story (who's story? Our story!) we are starting off the Milkshake weekend with a bang. On Friday, July 28th from 22:00 till 04:00 we are organising the first ever GRAND, HOPEFULLY SPECTACULAR MILKSHAKE OPENING NIGHT! Well, of course we'll let you be the judge of the spectacular part, but we sure are giving it all we've got to make it as showstopping as the rest of the weekend.

Milkshake Festival is an open-minded electronic dance festival that has made its mark in the city centre of Amsterdam. There are 9 stages per day that showcase (inter)national event promotors, artists and performance artists. With the most played genres being house, disco, pop, techno, R&B and dancehall, there is something for everyone, a delicious recipe to tantalize all your taste buds. Returning for the 11th edition at the beloved Westerpark on Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 July. And for the first time ever Milkshake will take place over 3 days as we kick off the weekend with the Grand Opening Night on Friday 28 July at the Gashouder, Westerpark.
