Workshop Intergenerational Lesbian Exchange (East)
As part of the workshop, we are trying out a generational exchange among lesbians under the direction of culture pedagogue and director Barbara Wallbraun (“Shore women – lesbian life in the GDR”) and cultural worker Henriette Stapf (including biographical work on the third generation in the East). The workshop offers the opportunity to get to know one's own biography (again) by telling stories, and to learn from other biographies by actively listening. In this way, the participants can discover similarities and differences, learn from each other and question attributions. The workshop offer is free of charge.
Pre-registration is requested: fzweiberwirtschaft@web.de
The number of participants is limited to 12.

LGBTI* historical city tour through Halle
with Ants Kiel and Elke Prinz
End: after about two hours at the Klaus Bridge
The tour leads to places that were milestones in the commitment to self-help, emancipation and equality for homosexual and bisexual people in the GDR era and up to the year 2000. In addition, former places of culture and sociability are to be visited, which at that time functioned as meeting places for non-heterosexual people. Experiences of transgender and intersex people are also included in the tour.
The tour is enriched with many personal memories and anecdotes. The participants can embark on an exciting journey through time, in which the equality and recognition of gender and sexual diversity were not as advanced as they are today - but there were astonishingly many opportunities for encounters in the pre-Internet age.
