Leipzig Bears are a group of gay men from Leipzig and the surrounding area. A beard, body hair and a stocky figure can be external characteristics of a bear. But that's not all, and not all Leipzig Bears look 'beary'. But what all those who come to our meetings have in common is the preference for bearded, hairy men and the desire to be in the company of men who have retained their naturalness.

It all started with a first hike in autumn 2016. A group of 20 bears set out to explore the town of Grimma and the hiking trail along the Mulde. As the response to our joint activities grew, we decided to expand the circle of people interested in bears. We set up a WhatsApp and a Facebook group and brought other interested bears on board. The groups provide information about the planned activities and leave a short report on the activities afterwards as a souvenir.
