Info
CSD Lubeck takes place on Saturday the 20th August 2022.
After two years under difficult conditions and the associated need to demonstrate LGBTIQ* visibility, this year's Lübeck Pride appeal goes to politics and society again. This is how the CSD starts in the Hanseatic city under the motto #self-determined.
The Pride season has long been in full swing and many cities and communities are taking to the streets for the rights and acceptance of LGBTIQ* people. One of the main demands is the replacement of the Transsexual Act (TSG) with a self-determination law, which allows a change of name and gender entry before the registry office on the basis of self-disclosure.
Since 1949, Article 3 of the German Basic Law has failed to protect those people who are disadvantaged because of their sexual or gender identity. The government traffic light in Berlin gives hope, but is still not to GO. We demand the inclusion of protection against discrimination for queer people in the Basic Law and in the state constitution of Schleswig-Holstein.
Parade
While the trucks are still being prepared for their grand entrance at the Marienkirchhof, the demonstration begins with the opening rally on the marketplace.
Before here, the march begins through the Holstenstraße and leads past the Holstentor to Lindenplatz, back through the historic city centre, across the transport hubs of Lübeck and ends again on the market square with the PolitTalk and the CSD street festival.
Festival
After the demo, the festival in the heart of the city promises to be the unusual and unforgettable highlight of the CSD Saturday. While funk & soul, rock & pop & disco alternate on stage, the information stands of the clubs, organizations and parties invite you to talk and discuss. The sales stands of Lübeck restaurateurs lure with cool refreshments, hot snacks and a wide range. In this way, the marketplace - Lübeck's first address and living room - will become the perfect mix of political commitment and hustle and bustle, discussion and information as well as seeing and being seen.
Welcome the band "Friend'tett" with their ChartMix, the guys from "Part of the Art" with interpretations of well-known hits from the 80s and the Pride spectacle "Access Icarus" on stage:
>>> Friend'tett <<<
The Friend'tett doesn't just play any party songs, only music that arouses passion both on and on stage. Powerful, emotional vocals, sweaty solos, an enthralling groove!
The program mainly includes current songs from the charts - means: modern sound and pure party - supplemented by indispensable classics of rock-pop history, which should not be missing under any circumstances.
