Pacific Northwest Black Pride takes place from the 9th to 13th August 2023.

The renewed sense of hope we have, that our community, with our love, our lives, and our lived experiences is, at last, being recognized. We must continue to lift that legacy if we are to foster a future free of prejudice and bias for all LGBTQ people locally, nationally, and globally. Throughout this year, our programs, events, education, and messages will focus on the ways in which our community and movement can restore, rebuild, redeem, and revive each other as we reimagine a free and fearless future ahead. We are intentional about the resiliency we are weaving into our work of monitoring, advocating and disseminating information on the issues impacting our LGBTQ communities locally, regionally, nationally and globally. We also remember to be healthy and whole. Bright days lie ahead! Together in Pride, we are resilient!

Celebrating our 6th year of the PNBP weekend celebration. We are bringing you four eventful days of fostering inclusion and advancing equity within the Black LGBTQIA+ community of the greater Pacific Northwest area.

The theme is a testament to our principles of being unapologetically Black in our positioning, where we are committed to collectively and courageously working for freedom and justice for all Black LGBTQIA+ people.
