Capital Pride takes place from the 5th June to the 14th June 2021. 2021 celebration of Pride in the Nation's Capital is a multi-day series of events in Washington, DC,
DC's Capital Pride is one of the largest celebrations in the country with upwards of a million people attending. The proceedings feature a street fair, festival and parade, all focused on civil rights issues, diversity and culture for gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender individuals.

The Capital Pride Alliance is honoured to once again acknowledge outstanding individuals, leaders, and activists in the National Capital Region who have furthered causes important to the LGBTQ+ community, especially during these challenging times. Join us for the annual Capital Pride Honours on Friday, June 11th as we collectively celebrate the incredible community honourees who tirelessly contribute to our collaborative advocacy, outreach, education, and programming in support of our intersectional community.
This year’s event will include a limited capacity in-person ceremony, in addition to being streamed live

Join us on June 12, 2021, as we traverse throughout the Nation’s Capital with our colourful caravan to spread joy, resilience, and PRIDE throughout Washington, DC.
This year, the Capital Pride Alliance is excited to present for the first time the Colourful Pridemobile Parade! This unique mobile parade will feature the official Pridemobile trolly, followed by a colourful array of automobiles decorated by registered organizations and businesses, all on display for enthusiastic onlookers to enjoy. The Pridemobile Parade route will be shared with the general public prior to the event and will pass through some of the city’s most lively areas for optimum visibility, including Dupont and Logan Circles, and iconic landmarks such as the Capitol Building.

Join us for a Sunday Funday to support local LGBTQ+ businesses as we celebrate Pride with the first-ever city-wide Taste of Pride Brunch!
You’re invited to celebrate all things brunch on June 13, 2021! Join us at an exclusive group of beloved local restaurants that have made a commitment to support Pride and local LGBTQ+ charities 365 days a year. Special food items, pride drink specials, and entertainment at select locations await you. Best of all, your participation will help raise awareness and resources for the GivePride365 Fund, benefiting local LGBTQ+ charities, and help to ensure the return of a full-scale Pride in 2022, as we set our eyes on 2025 when we will celebrate 50 years of Pride in the Nation’s Capital.
