RGV Pride takes place on Saturday, the 25th June 2022.

The largest LGBTQIA+ event in South Texas, open and welcome to ALL!

Back in 2013 local community members, activist and LGBTQ+ leaders created one of the first ever PRIDE events in the Rio Grande Valley. Aside from the bars/clubs where queer people grew up with, the Rio Grande Valley never had anything like PRIDE in the Park. A major event every year focused on all things LGBTQIA+, hosted at a community park in Harlingen, TX, with an estimated 400 attendees. Over the years our PRIDE event grew bigger and bigger, leading us to the McAllen Convention Center hosting nearly over 3,000 community members from across the Rio Grande Valley with a few out of town guests. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, we were unable to meet in person. However, COVID did not take our PRIDE away, and we hosted month long virtual activities. Well, without saying more, we are happy to bring you our fully in person PRIDE in McAllen, TX.
