Rhode Island Pride takes place from the 19th to 21st June 2026.

Rhode Island’s Annual Pride Fest Celebration & Illuminated Night Parade will be held in beautiful Downtown Providence. Beginning at 12:00, gates open on the South Water Street with access to over 250 non-profit organisations, businesses, and food vendors. Venture down to our main stage, providing entertainment for festival-goers all day with a variety of local, regional, and national acts. Rhode Island Pride was formed in 1976 as part of a grassroots effort to demand equal rights and bring visibility to the LGBTQ+ community.

Saturday the 20th
Parade
20:00, a Night Parade will be held in beautiful Downtown Providence. The parade is viewable from multiple locations throughout the city, the list of streets: Dorrance Street, Washington Street Empire Street. Weybosset Street As the sun sets, the streets come alive with a dazzling display of vibrant colours, electrifying floats, and the spirited energy of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. Glowing with pride, the parade illuminates the night with a captivating procession of diversity, love, and acceptance.

Festival
11:00 to 19:30, South Water Street. Rhode Island is excited to bring a diverse line-up of national, regional, and local entertainers for Pride Fest. There is something for everyone; our festival home in downtown Providence allows us to incorporate entertainment throughout the festival grounds, creating a wonderful festival atmosphere.
