House of 1833 Bed and Breakfast was built in 1833 by Elias Brown, banker and relative of one of the current owners, the House of 1833 is a 19th century Greek revival mansion and national landmark masterpiece on three beautifully wooded and landscaped acres of gardens and fountains. Always call for last minute availability and specials.

We always include our world-famous full New England country-gourmet candlelight breakfasts and feature a seasonal full size swimming pool surrounded by lush perennial gardens and fountains. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom with a bath or shower and shower, with bath robes provided. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. Superior rooms include a spa bath.
