Gettysburg Pride Fest, takes place from the 2nd to 4th June 2023. It will be the 7th anniversary.
We have many small businesses here in Gettysburg that are very supportive of LGBTQ+ and we encourage everyone who feels comfortable to visit Gettysburg to support our pride sponsors that include many hotels, restaurants, bars, shops and more that will be flying their Pride rainbow flags for Gettysburg Pride!

11am-1pm “Take Me or Leave Me” Pride Rocks! Nerd Herd sells Pride gear year-round and we love them! Stop by and paint a rock! We’ll have plenty of paint, paintbrushes, and lots of rocks for you to decorate with your favourite pride designs. Then leave your pride rocks safely on the ground somewhere in Gettysburg! When people find them, they should take a photo of it and tag #GettysburgPrideRocks and let’s see where all the love gets spread around the world. - Nerd Herd Gifts and Games, 10 York Street.

2-2:30pm PRIDE EDUCATION: Park Pride: Telling Diverse Stories At Gettysburg and Beyond by Christopher Gwinn (National Park Service) and Bethany Yingling (Gettysburg Foundation) A look at some of the extraordinary lives of individuals involved in The Battle of Gettysburg and other parts of the American Civil War, who may have been members of the LGBTQ+ community. Parade
Starts 2:30pm on Lincoln Square 2023. Wear your best rainbow pride colours and march TOGETHER (with friends and family who love you for being YOU). This year, with the support of the Gettysburg Borough Police Department, we are marching not on the sidewalk, but ON THE STREET to show our pride! Thank you to the Gettysburg Borough, the Gettysburg Borough Police Department and Mayor Rita Frealing!

Pride Stage On Carlisle Street/Lincoln Square Pride March will end with free popsicles and Glitter Blessing at The Unitarian Universalists Gettysburg located at 136 S. Stratton Street Please walk back to Lincoln Square safely on the sidewalks not the streets.
3-3:30pm PRIDE EDUCATION: Eisenhower & The Lavender Scare by Alyce Evans (National Park Service) In the 1950s, homosexuals working for the government were seen as “threats to the security of the country”.
