Fire Island Bear Weekend takes place from the 6th to 9th June 2024.

Welcome to Fire Island's 10th annual bear weekend. Whether you're coming from another state or day tripping it from the city, The two jewels of Fire Island, The Pines and Cherry Grove are truly a gay paradise in our own backyard. Located just an hour and half from New York City.

Thursday, June 6th
8pm Beers and Bears Dance Party at Cherrys On The Bay

​Friday, June 7th
4pm Bear Ass Tea Dance and Pool Party at the Belvedere Guest House in Cherry Grove. Clothing optional! DJ Insyx Piranha, ALL YOU CAN DRINK OPEN BAR! Presented by Bear World Magazine.

Saturday, June 8th
6pm Fire Island Bear Contest, Cherry's on the Bay, hosted by Ginger Snapp. Do you have what it takes to be the next Fire Island Bear?
9pm FIBW Main Event. TOGA PARTY - Purgatory@Large - DJ Ted Bishop at REFLECTIONS 73 Bay Walk Fire Island Pines. PURGATORY comes to Fire Island and to make things really hot come dressed in a TOGA, Onesie or nothing at all. Dance - Night Swiming - Hot Tub. Limited open bar, but please feel free to BYOB.

Sunday, June 9th
Noon till 6pm - VIP Pool Party - 231 Baywalk Fire Island Pines. Check out of your room and have one last day lounging by the pool and hot tub at this beautiful water front home, then grab the ferry from the Pines to head home kissed by the sun. Luggage check available, BYOB Hinny.
