The 18th Annual Newark LGBTQ Pride Festival takes place from July 10-16, 2023.

Join Newark Pride for the 18th Annual Newark LGBTQ Pride Festival! The Mission of Newark Pride, Inc is to increase awareness of the LGBTQ+ community by providing education, advocating for social justice, increasing progressive public policy, and developing opportunities for empowerment through fellowship.

Pride Flag Raising Ceremony
Monday, July 10, 2023, Newark City Hall (920 Broad St. Newark, NJ) from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Reception to follow at NICO's Kitchen + Bar (1 Center Street) from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM.

July 11-15 will be full of city wide events. Please check out social media for updates on event line up.

Parade
Sunday, July 16, 2023. Line up for the Parade begins at 10:30 AM at Lincoln Park at the intersection of Broad St. and Clinton Ave. Walk off is from Lincoln Park at 12 PM. We will be marching down Broad Street to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC).

Festival in the Park
Sunday, July 16, 2023. New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC - 1 Center Street, Newark, NJ) is where our annual Festival in the Park is being held from 1 PM - 6 PM. We will be hosted by drag sensation Alisha Day, with special performances by local LGBTQ acts and a special performance from a legendary dance music icon! *KidZone will be open from 12 PM - 4 PM.

The Legacy Ball 2: Pride Around the World
Sunday, July 16, 2023. The 2nd Annual Legacy Ball will be hosted inside the NJPAC Lobby, as we celebrate ballroom culture and it's impact on the world. Join us from 7 PM - 10 PM for 6 category battles and a special tribute to the late Dean James Credle.
