Springfield PrideFest (Illinois) takes place on Saturday the 18th, May 2024.

In the Fall of 2010 staff at the Phoenix Center asked a question. Why don’t we (Springfield) have a Pride Festival? A group of interested people got together and decided to make it happen. In May 2011 Springfield PrideFest became a reality. This street fair is held the 3rd Saturday of May. It is the product of many hours of hard work and meetings, and it is the best festival in Central Illinois! It is a day of embracing diversity and celebrating the Central IL LGBTQ community. Furthermore, it is an event with something for everyone – a kids area, a large stage with live entertainment, lots of great vendors selling goods and giving out information, great food & drinks, tons of fun, and time spent with family & friends.

Parade
Parade starts at 11:30.
The WNNS Pride Parade will begin at 5th & Allen and go North to 5th & American Legion Dr.

Festival
Memorial Health, Clique and Designer Landscapes bring you an amazing line-up of entertainment.
12:30pm Springfield Municipal Band
2pm Rock & Roll Sisters featuring local artists Tina Thornhill, Josie Lowder, Kyla Kruse, Gwen Harris and Patty Kniss
4pm, The Brat Pack – “The 80s aren’t over till we say they are.” The Brat Pack has delivered happy 80s and beyond party goodness throughout this great land for Twenty Seven sweet years – that’s 250% the size of the Me Decade itself. The Brat Pack plays those never-ending hits so true to the originals that every once in a while a listener suspects lip-synching, so the band might have to treat them to a teensy little mistake just to set them straight.
