Gay8 Festival, unfortunately, this event has been cancelled for 2024 but will return in 2025.

Gay8 Festival is the largest diversity and inclusion festival in the nation featuring live music, savoury foods, fashion, art and fun with over 100,000 attendees in 2022! Founded in 2015, the event centres around creating one day of fun with music, dance, fashion, international foods and local art reaching out to very different communities across the globe to celebrate together in a historic part of town facing widespread gentrification - Little Havana.

Yup! It is the largest Hispanic/Latino Festival LGBTQ hosted event in the United States, and it's free!

Many people have described Gay Ocho as a “community pride on steroids” - a pride of very different people coming together in one South Florida community to share an amazing day. An “arroz con mango” (“stickey mess”) of delight, fun, music, art, food, cafecito, salsa, dancing, parties wrapped in a colourful, historic, magical area that captures the imagination of a wonderful Caribbean/Latin day and night on the town.

The one-day festival blends all of South Florida’s delights into one gigantic party in the heart of Miami’s historic, Little Havana, where Gay Ocho invites all Miamians and people across the globe for the Fiesta of a lifetime stretching for five fun-packed, activity-filled blocks from SW 13ct to SW 17th Avenue on Calle Ocho in Miami.
