Women Fest Key West takes place from the 2nd to 6th September 2026.
Just before the school year starts in earnest just as the last rays of summer finally set just before the holiday season begins to rev up, Key West welcomes women from across the globe to an annual celebration that has become one of the largest gatherings of lesbians and friends in North America's Womenfest. Each year, thousands of ladies come together over the Labour Day weekend and stay for a wide range of activities and events during four days of revelry and fun. Key West boasts restaurants that offer remarkable cuisine year round, watering holes that offer authentic, tropical libations and shops that can’t be found anywhere else. Of course, the most popular activity during Womenfest usually involves a chaise lounge, a good book, sunscreen and a killer margarita. Come join us on our little island that is close to perfect but far from normal for this fabulous event that gets bigger and better every year.

Lost Women in the Arts
Honours the creators, visionaries, performers, and makers who have drifted away from their craft, been written out of history, or are still searching for their voice. We celebrate the forgotten, the unfinished, the quietly brilliant, and the women reclaiming their place in the creative world. Expect music, expressive themed gatherings, poolside joy, and a community that understands the courage it takes to feel lost, and the power of finding yourself again. Come as you are. Your art is still waiting.

8-9 am — Early Bird Clean Up with Plogging the Keys, presented by Key West Womenfest.
9:30 AM-11:30 PM— Join Key Lime Bike Tours for an unforgettable journey through the streets of Old Town Key West, a tour specially designed for Womenfest celebrating influential women.
11 am — Clothing optional Sandbar Snorkel trip on the Blu Q.
12 pm — All welcome pool party – Bourbon St. Pub – 724 Duval St.
2 – 4 pm — Y2K Jell-O Wrestling Match hosted by your referee, BruceKey @AquaPlex.
3:30 – 5 pm —🌩️Love in A Flash⚡: A Sapphic Speed Dating Experience.

3 PM —Rainbow History Trolley Tour — Womenfest Edition: Celebrate Womenfest with an unforgettable journey through Key West’s vibrant LGBTQ+ past and present.
8 PM— Decades of Divas 80s Prom. Dress to impress in your best 80’s diva attire—Madonna, Whitney, Prince, or full-on prom queen realness.

Sunday, September 6
Noon pm —“You CAN Sit With Us” Drag Brunch: We are excited to announce that we will be adding 25 more seats at the bar.
3 pm — Hot Dog Church. If you’re looking for a laid-back atmosphere to break from all the partying you did all week, then this is the place for you.
4 pm — The Original Tea Dance – a Key West Tradition. Join us for the last dance to close out Womenfest 2025 @La Te Da featuring DJ Rude Girl.
