Fantasy Fest takes place from the 21st to the 30th October 2022.
Fantasy Fest is the biggest gay event in Key West, taking place annually in October – we are not kidding when we say Fantasy Fest street festival rivals New Orleans Mardi Gras and Mardi Gras in Sydney in terms of debauchery and pleasure. A ten-day extravaganza that includes a parade, balls, costume competitions + parties, AIDS fundraisers, drag queen contests, body painting, pet parades and plenty of alcohol. The Headdress Ball is the ultimate gay event of the annual Fantasyfest and is absolutely not to be missed.
Fantasy Fest Street Fair
The Fantasy Fest Street Fair is now the Fantasy Market at the Truman Waterfront Park. Oh yes! Join your fellow revelers Friday, October 28 from 10 am to 5 pm for lots of great shopping, original local art, costumes & accessories, fun entertainment and of course serious eats & drinks.
Enjoy a live radio remote with Party 105.7 DJ spinning tunes, appearances by Fantasy Fest Royalty and score your official Fantasy Fest Merchandise. At 2 pm, bring your posse down to the stage and enter the pre-Masquerade March-March with a contest offering sweet prizes for most creative costume, couple and group!
Vendors, makers, artists, crafters, photographers, jewelry, apparel, costumers, toys, non-profits, sponsors, culinary, food trucks and more will be set up in the grass at the picturesque Truman Waterfront Park overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Find that perfect Keysie souvenir, grab lunch and throw back a cocktail or two while you shop and support local.
All ages, pet friendly event.
Captain Morgan Masquerade March

Join the hugely popular Fantasy Fest tradition, known as the locals’ parade, highlighting costumes, creativity and community.
The Captain Morgan Masquerade March is a grown-up moving cocktail & dance party that begins at Truman Avenue and Frances Street. This moving mosaic of costumed revellers strut their wacky costumes on a route that winds its way north to Fleming Street, stopping at participating guest houses, which – while supplies last – hand out complimentary beverages. When you have made your way through Old Town to Duval St. don’t worry, the party isn’t over! Keep on partying at The Green Parrot after March party, where you will listen to the sounds of Experimento; 601 Whitehead St.
Bud Light Fantasy Fest Parade

Each year, the Bud Light Fantasy Fest Parade winds through the world-famous Duval Street from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean. The parade is a splendid moving party with festive floats, wild walking groups, bicycle brigades, and even human-powered kinetic machines that entertain tens of thousands spectators in the premier Fantasy Fest event.
