Fernandina Beach Pride takes place on the 23rd of October 2021.

Unfortunately, Fernandina Beach Pride is being postponed due to circumstances of Covid-19.

With great sadness and frustration, the Board of Directors of Fernandina Beach Pride has once again decided to cancel our Pride Parade and Festival planned for October 23, 2021. We take the health and safety of the entire community very seriously and because of the resurgence of the COVID Delta variant, we do not believe that we can provide a safe environment for the attendees.

The Fernandina Beach Pride Board of Directors has announced that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the second annual Pride Parade and Festival is moving to October 23. “We are moving our event to ensure that we can have the safest and best possible event for the Nassau County community,” said Genece Minshew, President of Fernandina Beach Pride.

The October 2021 event will have the same fun parade, festival, vendors, kid’s zone, food trucks and music as did the inaugural event in 2019. Sponsorship opportunities are still open and available. We urge everyone to continue to follow current guidelines, wear a mask, keep socially distanced, and wash your hands. We will all get through this safely when we work together.
