Peterborough-Nogojiwanong Pride takes place from the 20th to 29th September 2024.

Peterborough-Nogojiwanong Pride, exists to: support & celebrate people of all sexual orientations and gender identities*; honour and give thanks to those who have come before us and contribute to the resilient spirit and courage of the present struggle for our human rights. We promote a justice seeking future through education and advocacy so that all may participate fully in the life and work of the City of Peterborough and surrounding area with safety, dignity & respect!

Parade
The Pride March/Parade will be held on the Saturday, 28th from City Hall to Millennium Park in downtown Peterborough. Gather at 1:30pm at City Hall for pre-parade events, and the parade starts at 14:00. The planned Parade/March route is approximately 1km and finishes at Millennium Park for the Pride in the Park event, which runs until about 17:30.

Festival
Peterborough-Nogojiwanong Pride "Pride in the Park" event takes place Saturday, 28th at Millennium Park in downtown Peterborough (east end of King Street) following Pride Parade (roughly 14:30 until 18:00). Pride in the Park includes:
Many amazing performers
Family friendly tunes.
Information booths from groups and agencies that support the queer community!
Vendors, and beer/beverage tent.
East Peterborough Lions Club Food Booth (burgers, sausages, hot dogs).
Family and Children's Area with activities to help youth have a great time.
Fun for the entire family!
