Ottawa Capital Pride takes place from August 17th to 25th, 2024.

Join us for a vibrant nine-day bilingual festival celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Canada’s National Capital Region. This year’s theme, “Listen. Learn. Act.,” encourages everyone to embrace advocacy by recognising diverse experiences, honouring community contributions, and actively supporting equality and justice. Be part of this empowering and joyous event. Whether you’re marching in the parade, participating in activism, attending the festivities, or showing your support as an ally, your presence makes a difference. Mark your calendars and celebrate with us at Ottawa Capital Pride 2024.

Parade
Sunday, August 25 at 1pm on Elgin Street at Laurier Avenue. Experience the power of unity and celebration as over 225 groups and more than 11,000 participants march through the streets of Ottawa. The Pride Parade is the highlight of the festival, showcasing our unwavering commitment to love, acceptance, and equality.

Festival
The Street Festival returns to Bank Street this year on August 24-25 from 12-8pm each day. It features community organisations, political groups, a craft fair, activations from our corporate partners, and other programming. Join Capital Pride on Bank Street as we celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
