9,45am for 10am start, Saturday 26 February, meet at the western Penistone Hill car park off Moorside Lane, Haworth.

Join us for a three-hour, 5-mile (8km) walk to the ruins of Top Withens Farm – the inspiration for Charlotte Bronte’s Wuthering Heights.
Please book your free tickets on Eventbrite.

Some scholars think both Charlotte and her brother Branwell were gay. Be that as it may, it’s a wonderful excuse for a ramble through Bronte country, taking in the Bronte Chair, the Bronte Bridge and the Bronte Falls before ascending Delf Hill to Top Withens itself. The walk is fairly easy, with a moderate incline from Bronte Bridge to Top Withens. The path is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
