Pride in the Moorlands takes place 27th to 29th July 2025.

The Staffordshire Moorlands is celebrating Pride for the first time. OUTSIDE has commissioned an artist to make a torch that over 3 days in June will travel around the Moorlands on a torch relay, lighting the way to show support for LGBTQ+ communities across the area. We’re looking for amazing locations to host it! This is your chance to celebrate and make the LGBTQ+ community visible in your town.

We’re looking for amazing locations to host it! This is your chance to celebrate and make the LGBTQ+ community visible in your town, village, or neighbourhood. We’re inviting local groups, schools, community centres, businesses, and individuals to apply for the Pride Torch to visit your area and receive up to £250 to help host inclusive activities. Whether it’s a picnic in the park, silent disco, drag storytelling, rainbow slide, crafts, dance event, afternoon tea, or anything else you dream up, we want to hear your ideas for bringing people together in celebration.
