Stoke on Trent Pride takes place on Saturday the 24th June 2023.
Stoke-on-Trent Pride has quickly grown into one of Stoke-on-Trent’s biggest and most vibrant annual community festivals, welcoming not only the Lesbian, Gay, bisexual and transgender community but everyone who values diversity in our City and wishes to celebrate equality.
This popular one day event turns the Victorian built Hanley Park into a magical array of colours supported by street performers, dancers, singers and local artists.
The purpose of Stoke-on-Trent Pride is to create a safe environment for people who are LGBT+ community, their friends, family can come together and celebrate diversity and culture in the city and promote acceptance and awareness of issues affecting people who are LGBT+
Pride is an inclusive event open to everyone; the pride committee will make every effort to recognise the needs of older people, younger people, people with a disability and those who are socially isolated. We will also encourage our neighbours’ from surrounding neighbourhoods to participate in our activities
Our aim is to organise a Pride festival in Stoke-on-Trent which celebrates the wide cultural and diversity of the LGBT+ community in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, to challenge homophobia and to increase the awareness and acceptance of their Human Rights.

1pm. Vinyl Overdrive. Stoke-on-Trent Pride is proud to reintroduce Vinyl Overdrive on the main stage for 2023. The band have performed at previous PRIDEs and have gone down a storm!
Chic Out!
Chic Out! Are a Midlands, UK based 9-Piece band playing the songbook of Nile Rodgers and Chic. Music to get you disco dancing. Playing at Pride for the first time.
4pm
Stepping Lane are a talented four-piece band from Staffordshire. Formed in early 2006 by singer/guitarist ROBIN, they have been gigging around the Staffordshire area playing a mixture of popular songs from 50s rock ‘n’ roll, to 60s pop, 70s disco, 80s punk, 90s brit-pop, 00s indie to 10s commercial pop.
5pm Sonia! A huge Pride welcome to SONIA! Sonia Evans is an English singer from Liverpool, best known for her 1989 UK number one single ‘You’ll Never Stop Me Loving You’. She also represented the United Kingdom in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, finishing second with ‘Better the Devil You Know’.
Starred as Sandy in the West End revival of Grease, and she also played Bunty in the 1998 TV comedy The Lily Savage Show.
5.30pm. Kelly Wilde. Australian singer Kelly Wilde is a successful international multi-lingual recording artist and performer who has toured extensively across the world. She has a vast portfolio of music hits, including a top 20 British Chart single. Kelly founded what is today one of the UK's leading entertainment agencies. Dance Crazy Management boasts some of the industry’s biggest names and is responsible for booking the largest venues and the majority of the Gay Pride events and Festivals in the UK and abroad.
