The Manchester Pride Festival 2021 takes place on 27th - 30th August 2021. On 22nd February, the UK Prime Minister outlined England's Roadmap out of lockdown, offering hope that live events will return this summer. This has put us in a position where we can work towards a plan that would see us come together and celebrate in person. Manchester Pride campaigns for LGBT+ equality; celebrates LGBT+ life and creates opportunities that engage LGBT+ people so that they can thrive.
Parade:
Manchester Pride's parade has been cancelled over concerns it could not run in accordance with Covid rules.
Gay Village Party
27th – 30th August 2021
The roots of Manchester Pride and the Festival are firmly in the heart of our world-famous Gay Village.
Taking place over all 4 days of the bank holiday weekend, the Gay Village Party proved to be the ultimate street party celebration as the sun shone down on the much loved cobbled streets!
With community performances in Sackville Gardens, plus markets and parties across The Gay Village’s venues, the Gay Village Party continued to be home to the hub of the festival’s celebrations.
Family Pride

You're never too young to celebrate Pride, and we wanted to ensure families could take advantage of the festivities at Manchester Pride Festival!
We invited you and your families to Sackville Gardens to take part in a programme of activities centred around fun, wellness and learning.

Youth Pride

In 2019, Youth Pride MCR was our first event especially curated for the younger members of our LGBTQ+ family. This unique event brought together creativity, fashion, music and more as we created a safe and nourishing space for young people aged 14+, who wanted to experience Pride in a way that was designed just for them. Our special Youth Pride MCR parade entry took to the streets as part of the Manchester Pride Parade.
Youth Pride MCR is free to attend.
